Percayso and TransUnion partner on consumer data

UK – Insurance intelligence business Percayso Inform and information and insights company TransUnion have partnered to distribute credit data.

Through the partnership, insurers, managing general agents and brokers will be able to access TransUnion’s TrueVision credit data via Percayso’s API.

TrueVision’s trended credit data offers insurance companies insights on consumers and their behaviour.

Russell Dixon, director of insurance at TransUnion in the UK, described the partnership with Percayso as “a major step forward” in TransUnion’s data distribution strategy.

Dixon said: “It’s vital that insurance businesses have access to better consumer insights to optimise their decision making process. This partnership will allow us to collaborate on industry level challenges and opportunities with our combined data, analytics and decisioning capability.”

Rich Tomlinson, managing director, Percayso, added that the partnership would mean clients “can gain competitive advantage from predictive insights based on enriched credit data”.

Percayso launched its insurance intelligence as a service within the UK insurance market three years ago. The company works with clients including Direct Line and the AA.
