Sentia Media has named Simon Hopkins, former digital sales manager of ACP Magazines, as commercial director of social media monitoring platform Brandtology in Australia.

MRSS India has appointed Seetha Sethuraman as senior client director in the pharmaceutical healthcare research group, Deepak Mathur as client director for customer loyalty and Bhumika Bhuptani as director of mystery shopping.

Nielsen has promoted Yvonne Lum to vice president of consumer research in Hong Kong.

Ipsos has promoted Frank Guo to director of healthcare research in China, supported by research directors Karen Lei and Jane Zhou. He reports to Gareth Phillips, recently confirmed as MD for Ipsos Healthcare in Asia Pacific.

Gernany’s Dialego has expanded into innovation consulting with the appointment of Detlef Happel, the former director of strategic planning at Saatchi & Saatchi Düsseldorf.

United Kingdom

Firefish has hired Kat Slater as an associate director of qualitative research. She joins from Essential Research.

Ledbury Research has appointed David Barks as a consultant and Todd Davis as research director. Barks previously spent four years at Optimisa Research while Davis joins from YouGov.

User experience firm Foolproof has promoted Leslie Fountain to managing director.

Mintel has appointed Henrik Møller Jørgensen as global research analyst for household care products. He joins after 13 years with manufacturer Danlind.

Curiosity Research has appointed Sally Lewis as senior research manager. She was previously insight and innovation manager at Keep Britain Tidy.

Ipsos has named Synovate’s Jenny Broughton as a global talent management partner.

Ad media software firm Telmar has hired Gary Mosson as country manager in the UK, replacing Alex Maddox who becomes director of global client services.

HPI has appointed Marianne MacDonell, ex-Kantar Health, to head up its healthcare and pharmaceutical division.

Face Facts Research has hired former McCallum Layton employees Jackie Skillington and Chloe Emerson as field manager and call centre manager respectively.

Red Onion Research has named Claire Ralphson-Cook as research director. She was formerly a consultant at Thinktank.

Chime Insight & Engagement has added eight new members to its team: Heather Norrington and Ellie Osborne as research managers, Oliver Rose as fieldwork support manager, Melanie Scott as marketing manager, Susannah Wilson as assistant management accountant, and Harriet Owens, Becky Ingram and Sarah Mulcahy as graduate trainees.

Illuminas has appointed Anna Gurevich, ex-Radius Global, as vice president in New York.

Customer intelligence technology provider Allegiance has named Jennifer Beyer as vice president of best practices. She was previously director of market research at Fidelity Investments.

DunnhumbyUSA has promoted Melanie Reynolds to associate director of finance and Michael McGowan as director of client leadership. Joining the firm are Josh Sosby as senior associate, Jim Stefanyak and Peter Huisman as directors and Leah Hartz as senior associate.

The Pert Group has promoted Doug Guion to president.

Prime Research has hired Joel Wethall, formerly of Moreover Technologies, as VP of business development.
