Werner Guminski has been appointed CEO of Kantar Health International Strategy, where he will be focus on innovation and client and portfolio strategy. His previous role was CEO of global practices at Kantar Health.
German pollster ODC Services has opened a new office in London, and added new sales manager Maxine Ellison and project manager Felix Schindler.
Ipsos ASI in the US has launched a new global practice that will focus on digital advertising. The new division will be led by Jim Forrest, who was previously SVP, digital space, at the Ipsos Open Thinking Exchange.
Betty Adamou has launched a new UK agency, Research Through Gaming, a gamification consultancy. Adamou was previously UK account manager at Nebu and has had spells with Ciao Surveys and Indiefield.
US agency Blueocean Market Intelligence has hired Dennis Goodman as senior research manager, Caryn Marchuk as account manager and Kat Bogdan as assistant research manager. The firm promoted Kirsten Markson to account director.
Kerstin Liehr has been appointed research lead at UK corporate reputation consultancy ReputationInc. She was previously director of the communication performance management team at Hering Shuppener Research in Germany.
GfK has promoted Praveen Madawala to CEO of its custom research business in the Middle East. He joined the firm in 2009 following a spell with TNS as country manager for Sri Lanka.
Matt Pasternak has joined Crowd Science in the US as senior vice president of business development and partnerships.
Nunwood has announced six new hires at its offices in the UK and US. In the UK Helen Blakely has been named senior client consultant, Masie Earle head of data services, Jordan Thomas senior client consultant and Calum Tomeny net developer. In the US Corey Moore has been given the role of vice president of business development and Aaron Horowitz joins as an analyst.
Bill Seely has been named vice president of analytics at US online targeting firm (X+1 ). He returns to the company following a three-year hiatus where he worked at Digital Measurement and Publicis Modem.
UK marketing firm 20:20 Agency has hired Rob Edwards to fill the newly created role of head of insight. He previously ran his own qual agency Blue Republic.
Physician panel provider ImpactRX in the US has hired Rob Delghiaccio as SVP of business development and promoted Jim Cronin to SVP of its oncology franchise. Delghiaccio joins from GfK Healthcare where he was also SVP of business development.
US ad agency Allen & Gerritsen has hired Darshan Sampathu as measurement and analytics manager. He joins the firm from Arnold where he held the role of analytics manager.
Online data collection firm AskingCanadians has appointed Roy Gonsalves as director of sales. He has previously worked for Ipsos ASI and Research Now.
Michael Stone has joined IFM Sports Marketing Surveys in the UK as head of research and consultancy. Stone previously worked with Synovate and the Electoral Reform Service. The firm has also promoted Jon Stainer to deputy managing director.
GfK NOP in the UK has appointed Neil Thorington as deputy MD of GfK Financial. He previously had a six-year spell at YouGov.
Shankar Reavikumar has joined Initiative China as chief of insight and analytics. He was previously executive director of insights, communications planning and analytics at Omnicam Media Group China.
