The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week: Kadence International, One-MS, EmSense, PHD Worldwide, DunnhumbyUSA, 13 Management, KPMG Europe and Itracks.

Kadence International in the UK has appointed PATRICK YOUNG as insight manager and HEATHER BAKER as a graduate insight executive. Young joins the firm after spells with Pricejamieson and DVL Smith while Baker recently graduated from Southampton University.

JEMMA GREEN has joined UK agency One-MS as a research manager.

US neuromarketing technology firm EmSense has added P. READ MONTAGUE to its Science Advisory Board. Montague is a professor in the Department of Physics at Virginia Tech, director of the Computational Psychiatry Unit and Human Neuroimaging Lab at the Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute and professor of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at University College London.

MARK HOLDEN has been promoted to global strategy director at media and communications agency PHD Worldwide. Holden is currently managing partner of the firm’s Australian arm but will relocate to London in his new position.

DunnhumbyUSA has hired four new members of staff and promoted one. Joining the company are ALEX BOERGER as senior associate for custom insights, KYLE SCHLOTMAN as associate for client leadership, JEREMY SURVANCE as senior associate for client leadership and STEVE FLAMING as analyst, custom insights. JAYME WILKINS, meanwhile, has been promoted from associate to senior associate for communications and media.

FRANK BELL has joined entertainment talent agency 13 Management in the US in the newly created position of director of research and radio. He joins from radio station owner Keymarket Communications, where he spent 10 years as vice president of programming.

KPMG Europe has appointed TERRY CORBY to the newly created position of chief marketing and communications officer. Corby was previously at Accenture where he director of marketing and communications for the UK and Ireland.

Online qual technology firm Itracks in the US has announced that business author and marketing expert JEFFREY HAYZLETT is now advising the company. The author will provide Itracks and its management team with strategic feedback.
