The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week featuring the latest from 1HQ, The Modellers, InsightExpress, The Yankee Group, VisiStat, Phoenix Marketing International and SynGro.

UK-based branding agency 1HQ has increased its numbers with the appointment of AMELIA BOOTHMAN as client director for the strategy and innovation team. Boothman will work alongside CLAIRE NUTTEL, TOM ELLIS, ANDREW COLLINS and MELISSA JACKSON.

PATRICIA KIDD has been appointed senior vice president of US company The Modellers. Kidd was previously team executive at BioVid and her work has been recognised by the Advertising Research Foundation’s Ogilvy Award.

InsightExpress has promoted MOLLY ELMORE to vice president of research within the company’s digital media management team. Elmore previously held the position of lead digital media measurement researcher and has been with the company since 2006.

Yankee Group has appointed JASON ARMITAGE as senior analyst in the company’s Anywhere Consumer Research team based in Europe. Before joining the company Armitage worked for IDC as a digital media and consumer consultant.

US-based website performance management firm VisiStat has selected JIM BENNETTE to be the company’s new CEO. Prior to this position, Bennette was strategic consultant and executive advisor of Adobe Systems.

ELAN KATRA has joined US marketing research firm Phoenix Marketing International as vice president of the firm’s Phoenix Healthcare division. Katra has over 16 years experience in the industry and has previously worked with pharmaceutical companies such as Actelion and Amgen.

SynGro has named RACHEL LANE as their new director of sales, which coincides with the opening of the company’s London office. Lane has over 15 years experience and will be overseeing global channels and direct business development for the company.
