The latest round-up of personnel changes in the research and insight business. Companies announcing staff changes include MMR Group, Ogilvy and Mather and HMV Group
No shortage of change at MMR Group where the firm has signed up nine new recruits. VICKI WIDDOWSON becomes associate director, CAT MESSENGER is a new senior research executive, ALICE DE WEND FENTON joins as trainee research executive, TOM BOWLING joins the data analysis team as statistician, TOMASZ KAZMIERSKI is welcomed aboard as trainee research executive, DAVID WILLIAMS is the new project controller, KAREN SEGALL joins as research director, VALERIE MIALON becomes director of sensory and consumer research and ELSPETH MORGAN is the firm’ s new costing executive.
The HMV Group has appointed its first group marketing director in the guise of GRAHAM SIM. He was previously marketing director for HMV. He takes control of group CRM, brand creative and brand marketing. Meanwhile LEE BANNISTER who was Waterstone’s head of marketing and customer insight is promoted to head of brand marketing for Waterstone’s, HMV and music chain Fopp.
MARK SINNOCK, who was ASDA’s marketing director with oversight of strategy, insight and advertising, becomes Ogilvy & Mather’s regional planning director for Asia Pacific. He will relocate to Singapore and start work in November.
The Value Engineers have called upon ANJUL SHARMA to be senior consultant and head of qualitative research. Sharma was previously at TRBI and Synovate.
AMBER GIANNONE has been promoted at marketing services house Quest Fore. She moves from being marketing associate to being manager of client and project services.
