People on the move

People

The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight business. This week: ICM Research, Lightspeed Research, Macquarie Radio Network, Annik Technology Services, Facts International, OnePoint, Kantar Video and Venture Consulting.

ICM Research has hired Kathryn Hall, formerly of GfK, as associate director in the qual division; Nora Hungershoefer, formerly of Aequus Research, as qual project manager; and Hadiya Hassan, who moves across from ICM sister company Fieldwork UK to take up the role of qual administrator. ICM has also appointed two project managers in its financial division: Arwen Sleigh joins from TNS and Jess Jarvin was previously at Initiative Media

Two new hires and five promotions at online panel company Lightspeed Research. Jo Stanford joins the agency with the relocation of the Survey Director team from sister company Kantar Operations, while Trixie Cartwright takes up the role of European research methodologist and product development vice president. She was previously a regional interactive director for TNS Latin America. Luigi Laezza has been promoted to senior web developer for the EMEA region, Tapio Mustonen moves up to panel data analyst and Massimo Bartozzi has been promoted to senior account manager in Milan.

The Macquarie Radio Network in Australia has appointed Batoul Alamein as strategy and research manager. She join MRN from Commercial Radio Australia where she worked in strategic insights.

KPO firm Annik Technology Services has opened an office in Tokyo. Justin Tomboulian joins the team as senior vice president for North and East Asia, and global alliance manager for the Microsoft account – his former employer. Meanwhile in the US, Annik has hired Rudy Nadilo as senior vice president for North America. Nadilo was the founding CEO of Greenfield Online.

Facts International has appointed Rowena Hallet as an insight executive, working within the quantitative technology and telecoms teams. She previously worked for Synovate.

Mobile phone survey technology firm OnePoint has hired Jim Schwab as senior vice president of business development for the US and Canada. He is a former senior vice president of global sales and marketing for Harris Interactive.

Online and mobile video analytics firm Kantar Video has appointed Marc Gaccione as senior vice president of business development. He was previously director of channel development for rich media and video provider Media Mind – formerly known as Eyeblaster.

Australian telecoms and media research firm Venture Consulting has appointed Mevan Jayatilleke, the former head of telecoms market research firm Telsyte, as a senior manager.
