The latest appointments and promotions in the global research industry. Today, Infegy, SSI, Incite and more

JULIA BEAVER has been appointed as head of GfK NOP Research Panels, having previously been deputy managing director at GfK Financial.

Incite has appointed MARK YEOMANS as a director and JUSTYNA GESTWA and ALEX WEBB as associates. Yeomans was previously a partner at Jigsaw Research, where he set up the public sector business. Gestwa joins from MarketTools and Webb joins from TNS Research International.

The Advertising Research Foundation has appointed DAVID MARANS as executive vice president of media. Before joining he served most recently as an executive VP with IAG Research and a research director at A&E Networks.

Survey Sampling International (SSI) has appointed CHRIS WATSON as managing director of its UK business. He was most recently with Greenfield-Ciao, and has also worked at BMRB.

ALANNA CLARK has joined online ad targeting company AudienceScience as vice president of strategic partnerships. Clark previously worked as director of business development at online advertising firm AdMeld. She also worked as director of marketplace performance and anatlytics for Right Media, which is owned by Yahoo.

Ci Research has promoted KATIE WATERHOUSE from research manager to research director. Waterhouse joined the agency in 2004 from the Learning and Skills Council.

Marcomms agency Pulse Group has appointed ANGELICA DEJARESCO as a senior research executive. She was previously with Nielsen in the Philippines.

B2B International has appointed GUAN JINGYUAN joins as research executive in the Beijing office and CRISTIN MALONE as a research analyst in the New York office.

Panel provider Research Now has made three appointments at its Hamburg office. GUNNAR STEINCKE has jointed as project manager, MIRKO BUSCH has joined as client development executive, and FRANZISKA TEICHERT has joined as project management executive.

Marcomms agency Engine has appointed JEZ GROOM, one of the founders of planning agency Edwards Groom Saunders, to head its new insight and research unit, Engine Decisions. The unit has a 20-strong team which will use behavioural analysis to provide communications advice to Engine’s clients.

National Opinion Research Center (NORC) has appointed DANIEL KASPRZYK, previously vice president and director of surveys and statistics at Mathematica Policy Research, as director of its Center for Excellence in Survey Research and Quality.

Infegy, which makes the web analytics tool Social Radar, has opened a European sales office in Birmingham, England, to be headed by GRAY DUDEK as managing director of Infegy Europe.

TV ad analytics provider Ace Metrix has hired JACK FLANAGAN as chief revenue officer. Flanagan was most recently an executive vice president at ComScore.

Out-of-home media researcher Bulzi Media has appointed BILL COLLINS, a principal at Decision Point Media Insights, to its advisory board.
