People

The latest appointments and promotions in the global research and consumer insight industry. This week: Ipsos Marketing, Kadence International, Naked Communications, Lenovo, Nugg.ad, Added Value, InsightExpress, PluggedIN, Ask Research, QRS, Sentient Decision Science and SiriusDecisions.

Ipsos Marketing in the US has hired Donna Wydra as senior vice president, with a key role to play in developing the company’s shopper insights practice. Wydra has worked clientside for McDonald’s and Leaf and on the agencyside for TNS, Synovate, MARC, Nielsen and IRI. She was most recently senior vice president of Socratic Technologies.

Kadence International USA has hired Kate Rose Colantuono as a project manager, while Kevin Braun has been promoted to research centre supervisor.

In Australia, Naked Communications has hired psychologist Brooke Ward to join its consumer insights team.

PC maker Lenovo has appointed David Roman as chief marketing officer. Based in the US, Roman joins the company from rival Hewlett-Packard where he spent the past four years as vice president of worldwide marketing communications for the personal systems group.

Germany’s Nugg.ad, a survey-based predictive behavioural targeting firm, has promoted Richard Hutton to chief technical officer after three years as software director with responsibility for structural and product development.

Added Value has appointed David Blackshaw to its executive committee in the role of chief talent officer. He will be based in London. Blackshaw has spent the last nine years working with the group’s South African and Asian businesses in both a talent development and client facing capability.

InsightExpress has made three changes to its US-based digital media measurement group. Company veteran Dan Campbell is promoted to vice president, Lauren Coyne Benedict moves to senior director and Karen Joyce becomes senior account executive.

Mark Stapylton has joined market research online community specialist PluggedIN as managing partner. Stapylton previously worked for Harris Interactive in the role of senior vice president of brand and communications.

Ask Research in the UK has hired Richard Noon from Zussi Research, where he was a research associate.

UK-based QRS Market Research has promoted Sarah Hobley to field director and Kathy Tomlin to the newly-created role of operations director. Stephen Lewis joins the team as senior DP executive, while Selina Patel has been appointed telephone executive.

Sentient Decision Science in the US has hired Nikki Lavoie as research project manager.

US B2B sales, research, data and advisory firm SiriusDecisions has promoted Georgie Donahue to regional vice president for Europe while Megan Heuer becomes service director of the company’s marketing operations strategies offering. SiriusDecisions has also hired Jay Gaines and Marisa Kopec as research and service directors, respectively.
