A roundup of the latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight business. This week: Market Force Information, Voxco, Targetbase Claydon Heeley, Toluna, iPerceptions, RDSi, Insitas, I-Level, MarketShare Partners, Peer Group Media, Double Helix, The Optimization Group and Flow.

US customer intelligence technology agency Market Force Information has appointed JANET EDEN-HARRIS as senior vice president of strategy and chief marketing officer. She was previously CEO of social media research agency Umbria, which was acquired by JD Power in 2008.

JOHN MACKAY has joined research software publisher Voxco as senior sales consultant in the UK. He was previously at Mr Sample, a consumer sampling agency he founded. Mackay also runs an MR industry networking group the Research Club.

UK direct marketing and data analytics firm Targetbase Claydon Heeley has hired DIRK NACHBAR as senior analyst and THEO KOKONAS as digital project director. Nachbar joins from Dunnhumby while Kokonas was previously at Syzygy.

Online panel provider Toluna has appointed BRIAR McAULEY as senior account manager and KIRSTEN HARDIE as account director. McAuley has returned to the firm after a year off travelling and a short spell at Cint while Hardie was at Datamonitor for the last 12 years.

ANDREW BARKER has joined electronic display research agency Meko as analyst director. He was previously head of digital displays and TVs at ViewSonic Europe.

India-based online travel company Yatra.com has appointed PRATIK MAZUMDER as head of marketing. He was previously at Bharti Airtel where he managed brand and media communication.

STEPHEN LAPOINTE has joined US web analytics firm iPerceptions as chief financial officer. He comes to the company from Optimal Payments, where he held a range of financial management consulting positions.

RDSi in the UK has appointed NICKY DENTON as research director and PETRA KUBALCIK as associate director. Denton joins from GfK NOP where she was a director in the consumer, products and retail team while Kubalcik previously led the qual technology team at TNS Hong Kong.

UK consumer research agency Insitas has hired PETRINA CARMODY as director of customer and employee engagement. She was previously a director at a talent management company and held a governor role with Her Majesty’s Prison Service.

ADAM FULFORD has joined digital planning agency I-Level as head of planning. Fulford joins from Tullo Marshall Warren, where he was group planning and intelligence director.

MarketShare Partners has added JIM GARRITTY to its board of advisors. He has held senior marketing positions with Wachovia, Compaq and IBM during his career.

Australian entertainment marketing agency Peer Group Media has appointed KATE EDWARDS as its new managing director. She replaces ANDREW REID, who has moved to the newly created role of director of strategy and research, where he will lead the PeerIn consumer insights division.

Healthcare consultancy Double Helix has named MIKE RIZZO to its US consulting office, and SAHIL KIRPEKAR and ENRICO DE NIGRIS to its UK market access team.

Michigan-based marketing analytics and research firm The Optimization Group has appointed THOMAS THOMPSON as director of new business development.

Flow, a user-centred design consultancy based in London, has appointed ELISA DEL GALDO as director of user experience. She joins from Webcredible where she was head of user experience. The company has also appointed three user experience consultants: LINDA HOLE, JAN SRUTEK and FABIEN MARRY. DAVID MITCHELL also joins the firm as account director.
