OnePoint offers open-source option for mobile surveys

UK - OnePoint Global is making the source code for its mobile survey platform available to clients on a software-as-a-service basis.

OnePoint’s clients will be able to use the code to build their own mobile survey solutions, integrate OnePoint’s modules into their existing platforms, or take a ‘white label’ approach, applying their own branding to OnePoint’s platform.

The open-source option will make it quicker and easier for research companies to build their own branded apps using OnePoint’s technology, and for brand owners to incorporate mobile survey functionality into their own apps, OnePoint said.

"By creating open-source access to our mobile survey platform and solutions, we are enabling market research and customer experience specialists to adopt best-in-class technology to build their own proprietary mobile survey solutions, without the massive associated development cost or time," said Doug Morris, OnePoint Global’s chief technology officer.
