Omnicom Q3 revenue down 1.1% to $3.7bn

US — Advertising and marketing comms group Omnicom has reported worldwide revenue dropped 1.1% to $3.7bn in Q3 2015 although an increase in revenue from organic growth was 6.1%.

Organic revenue in the third quarter of 2015 increased 6.3% in North America, 9.1% in the UK, 4.5% in the Euro markets and other Europe, 8.6% in Asia Pacific and 0.4% in Africa/Middle East. It decreased in Latin America by 6.9%.

The change in organic revenue in the third quarter of 2015 compared with the same quarter in 2014 in its core areas was: advertising up 9.9%, CRM up 2.8%, speciality communications increased 5.4%, while public relations decreased 1.5%.

Operating income in Q3 2015 fell $5.3m, or 1.2%, to $428.3m.
