Omnicom names president for Annalect Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE— Lee Smith has been appointed Asia Pacific president at Annalect, Omnicom Media Group’s data-driven marketing division.

Smith (pictured) was previously CEO at Omnicom’s Platforms business in Asia Pacific, and had previously served as managing director of OMG Canada. Previously, he founded Canadian digital marketing agency Ehaviour.

Barry Cupples, CEO for Omnicom Media Group Asia Pacific, said “Lee has driven our digital product to new levels in the region with tremendous growth for our search, display, social and mobile offerings. His extensive experience in the area of data and analytics makes him a natural choice for the Annalect leadership role.”
