Offerwise acquired by Norstat

The acquisition will see Norstat create a new regional business area for the Americas, with Offerwise chief operating officer Rob Dolafi assuming the roles of chief executive at Offerwise and head of Norstat Americas, reporting to Norstat chief executive Erling J.B. Eriksen.
Norstat acquired all shares in Offerwise from Andrew Lissak, founder and former chief executive at Offerwise, who will remain with the company as an adviser.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Norstat said that the acquisition would strengthen its international data collection footprint through expansion into the Americas and that the business would seek to strengthen Offerwise’s current position in the market.
Offerwise was founded in 2001, and, as well as its headquarters in Brazil, has a presence in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and the US.
Norstat was established in Norway in 1997 and operates across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, the UK, the Republic of Ireland, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Austria and Italy.
Eriksen said: “The acquisition of Offerwise is an excellent strategic fit for us as we accelerate our global expansion, as part of our long-term growth plan, which this acquisition is fully aligned with.”
Dolafi added: “Joining Norstat allows us to expand our digital solutions and deliver even greater value to our clients, who increasingly need global sample provision. We are incredibly excited to begin this journey together.”
Lissak commented: “I’m proud of what the Offerwise team has built over the years, and I’m pleased that we’ve found a new home that truly aligns with our values and ambitions.
“Norstat brings complementary strengths and a shared commitment to high-quality data, which makes this a natural next chapter for Offerwise.”
