US — Global information company The NPD Group has promoted five company officers to lead industry sectors across its Americas practice.
Perry James becomes president of US Hardlines business while Mike Leahy becomes president, Canada and Latin America and Diane Nicholson is promoted to president, US Softlines.
Meanwhile, Arnie Schwartz becomes president of US Food while Karl Werner becomes president, US Technology. All report to Dennis Brown, group president for Americas Commercial Business.
Brown (pictured) commented: “Our clients’ needs are evolving, and we are ready to elevate our levels of engagement. These leadership changes equip us to continue providing the market information NPD is known for.”
