US — George Terhanian has been named group president and chief research & analytics officer at NPD Group.
He joins from Toluna, where he was chief strategy & products officer and president, North America.
Terhanian’s role has been newly-created to reflect NPD’s increased focus on analytics-based solutions and continued innovation in consumer panel research.
“George is a widely-respected leader in the market research industry and possesses extensive management experience, especially with regard to consumer panels, as well as outstanding credentials in statistical and methodology disciplines.” said NPD president and chief operating officer Karyn Schoenbart.
“He will play a critical role as we continue to transform our business, addressing an expanding array of client needs with new services.”
