SPAIN – Information and advisory services business NPD Group has appointed Edurne Uranga as head of Foodservice Spain, the Spanish branch of the company’s food market research organisation.
Uranga (pictured) was previously consumer insight director at Kantar Worldpanel, and also spent a decade at Nielsen.
In her new role, Uranga will help Foodservice Spain’s data and analytics offers, and also navigate the Covid-19 pandemic. She will report to Maria Vanifatova, head of Foodservice Europe.
Vanifatova said: “Edurne has extensive experience in providing analysis and insights to the foodservice market.
“We are delighted to have someone of her calibre and industry knowledge lead the team in Spain”
