UK – Behavioural research company Watch Me Think has introduced a qualitative tool to measure new product development in the consumer packaged goods sector.
The post-launch consumer review (PLCR) service will evaluate the price, place, promotion, product, pack and proposition of newly launched products.
Results of PLCRs are shared in an interactive scorecard containing scores for each of the six elements, and the company’s researchers offer analysis from observing consumers in video research.
Alistair Vince, founder and chief executive of Watch Me Think, said the tool offers “evidence-based analysis and a formula for what, if anything, needs to be amended to win at the register”.
