NMG buys CATI specialist Dataquest

UK— Financial services research agency NMG has acquired Dataquest Research Consultants for an undisclosed amount.

Dataquest, a full-service agency that specialises in CATI services for the financial sector, will keep its brand name, and its five full-time members of staff and 24 part-time interviewers will remain with the firm.

Partner David Morton will continue to lead the Dataquest business. He said: “There is a natural fit between the two businesses. The combined expertise, together with the additional capability and resource that Dataquest brings to the group means that clients will benefit from a truly comprehensive full service approach to research and strategic consulting.”

NMG director David Burns (pictured) told Research that his firm had “always outsourced” its telephone interviewing requirements before making the move for Dataquest.

“We believe having an in-house CATI solution will benefit our clients hugely by providing a quality approach, with deep market knowledge that will be hard to find elsewhere,” he said.
