Nielsen revenues up 2% in 2016
On a constant currency basis, this represents a 4.1% increase.
Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2016 were $1.7m, a 2% increase ( 3.4% on a constant currency basis) compared with the same period in 2015.
The company’s net income for the year decreased by 11.9% ( 11.2% on a constant currency basis) to $502m.
“While 2016 was a challenging year, our results reflect the resiliency of our business," said Mitch Barns, chief executive officer of Nielsen (pictured).
"We remain focused on our key strategic initiatives and we continue to drive productivity and efficiency in our operations.”
