Nielsen Online promotes Matt Bruce to Australian MD
His promotion follows that of previous MD Megan Clarken, who was recently put in charge of the web measurement firm’s activities across the Asia Pacific region.
Clarken said: “Australia is one of the biggest markets for Nielsen’s online business and we have experienced strong growth over the past 12 months. Matt has been pivotal in achieving that growth and I am confident he will continue this success in his new role as managing director.”
Bruce (pictured) said: “Working with key industry bodies, the IAB and MFA, we aim to introduce a world-leading online audience measurement system to Australia and to continue to demonstrate the branding and purchase impact of online advertising.”
Before joining Nielsen in late 2008 Bruce held senior roles with media companies across the US, UK, Japan and Australia.
