Nielsen launches AI advertising intelligence

The product monitors 5.5m brands in around 90 markets internationally, tracking competitive ad spend, creative strategies and market dynamics across connected TV, TV and streaming, retail media, search, radio and audio, social, print and audio.
Nielsen has also made the platform available through the model context protocol (MCP), meaning that customers’ own AI agents and platforms can query the company’s insights directly within their own work processes.
Nielsen is launching the platform as the first phase in a series of moves aimed at establishing an AI-based advertising decisions ecosystem for what the company termed ‘the AI era’.
Nielsen chief product officer Akhil Parekh said: “AI is the mechanism by which we will become faster, more accurate, more personalised and more indispensable to the clients who rely on us for media intelligence to drive their business.”
