UK — Newsworks, the marketing body for national newsbrands, has appointed Denise Turner as its director of insight.
Turner (pictured), currently chief insight officer at Havas Media Group, has also held roles at Leo Burnett, Starcom MediaVest Group, ZenithOptimedia and BBH, where she started her career.
“I cannot think of anyone better qualified for the role at Newsworks,” said Rufus Olins, chief executive of Newsworks. “Denise is hugely respected and connected. She has a natural curiosity and an in-depth understanding of why people make the media choices they do. She also has a wonderful knack of making the complex simple.
