Nature receives B Corp certification
Certified B Corporations must meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability. Nature achieved a score of 92 on the B impact assessment, well above the 80 required for certification.
The company’s longstanding commitment to its people, community giving and its approach to sustainability were key justifications for the certification.
Nature partner and Melbourne managing director Justin Connally commented: “We’re a business built on people, so making sure the way we operate has a positive impact on the wider community is in our nature.
“We are beyond proud to receive a B Corp certification, and even more to be the first insights firm in Australia and New Zealand to do so. It really is a testament to each and every one of our people who made it possible and allows us to show the industry the values that really matter.
“At Nature, we have always held true to the start-up values that built our business, and this is the next step in proving that profit and purpose go hand-in-hand. This achievement inspires us to do more and strengthens our commitment to our clients, our work and each other.
“It’s only really the beginning of our journey. We’ve already set ourselves some ambitious goals for the next 12 months and look forward to continually challenging ourselves well beyond that”, he concluded.
