UK— The BBC has hired specialist marketing agency and sample supplier MumPanel to redevelop part of its CBeebies website, which is aimed at young children.
MumPanel will carry out surveys with parents, guardians and grandparents on behalf of BBC Interactive to discover what sort of content they would like to see in the website’s new ‘grown-ups’ section.
The company will also be involved in collecting tips and stories from parents for the launch of the CBeebies Grown-Ups Facebook and Twitter pages.
Lynne Barcoe (pictured), the firm’s founder, said: “It’s really exciting that a well-respected brand that markets to children is now engaging with their parents and guardians and speaking to to them throughout product and service development. I hope we will see more of it from other brands that market to children and parents.”
