MRS to join Pride parade
MRSpride, the organisation’s LGBTQ+ network, has secured space for 50 researchers to join the parade.
It is free to sign up to attend and those interested can do so via the MRS website.
The annual event, organised by Pride in London, celebrates diversity and inclusivity.
Daniel Cunill, director of market research UK at Bilendi and a member of MRSpride, said: “This year marks a historic moment: for the first time, a market research organisation is officially marching in a Pride march. The Market Research Society’s presence at Pride London isn’t just symbolic – it reflects the core values that define our profession.
“We are guided by a passion to represent the entire society, ensuring that every voice is heard, respected, and included in the insights we deliver. Equally, we take pride in belonging to a truly diverse industry – one where people from all backgrounds are welcomed and valued.
“This will be the first time, but it certainly won’t be the last. We believe many more organisations in our sector will follow, driven by the same principles of inclusion, representation, and equality. This is more than just a march; it’s a powerful statement of who we are and what we stand for.”
On the event information page, MRSpride said: “Whether you are part of the LGBTQ+ community or a proud ally, this is your chance to walk alongside colleagues and friends, celebrate who we are, and make some joyful noise in true #MRSpride style.
“Let’s show the world that market research is open, inclusive, and committed to reflecting society in all its diversity.”
