UK — The Market Research Benevolent Association (MRBA) has launched its first MRBA Week to spread awareness of their role supporting researchers in need and to raise funds.
MRBA Week will run from 19-23 October and companies are being asked to nominate an ‘MRBA Champion’ from their staff who will help spread information about MRBA to their colleagues and organise fundraising activities during the week.
MRBA Committee Member Linda Henshall said: “Our Helping Researchers in Need Fundraising Week is to raise the MRBA’s profile across the industry and particularly among younger researchers who might need our services one day. But we also want to encourage more agencies, fieldwork companies, independents, consultancies, telephone research agencies, online panel companies and industry groups as well as their employees to understand and appreciate what we do and the services we provide to the industry as well as encourage more of them to support us.”
More than 20 companies have already agreed to take part. Champions will be invited to a launch meeting at the Market Research Society on 13 July to discuss their ideas and the Week itself will kick off with a party in Central London on 19 October.
If you would like to get involved contact linda.henshall@newfieldwork.co.uk or visit the MRBA website.
