MEL Research hires research manager

UK – Social research agency MEL Research has appointed Bronwyn Vermaat as research manager in its quantitative team.

Bronwyn Vermaat

Vermaat (pictured) was previously at Vanson Bourne, where she worked for four years, bringing skills in end-to-end project management and understanding of the technology sector.

Before joining research, Vermaat worked at the University of Exeter and the Transport Research Laboratory.

Vermaat focused on inclusion of minority groups as part of her academic studies, including the experience of European minorities and the issues faced by women in India.

Elliot Simmonds, client solutions director at MEL Research, said: “It’s great to have Bronwyn on board and her experience in the technology sector adds significant value to an area we know impacts the lives of people across a whole range of spheres – be it patient interactions with healthcare providers or citizen interactions with their local council – and where there are significant gaps in outcomes between the enabled and the deprived.”
