UK – Social research agency MEL Research has appointed Ayesha Lynn-Birkett as senior research executive and promoted Angela Parton within its telephone unit.
Lynn-Birkett (pictured, left) joins MEL Research as a senior research executive from Ipsos, where she worked for the past three years in the employment, welfare and skills team at the Social Research Institute. Prior to that, she spent four years at YouGov.
Lynn-Birkett’s background spans social research and other research disciplines, and includes project management and analytical expertise.
Parton (pictured, right) takes up the newly created role of telephone unit manager, after joining the Birmingham-based agency as a telephone interviewer on the PHE Test and Trace project in November 2020.
In May 2021, she was appointed as team leader, managing a team of 30 telephone interviewers. Prior to MEL Research, Parton spent two decades in the property management sector.
Steve Handley, quantitative research director, said: “The combined strengths of Ayesha and Angela enrich our team’s capabilities.
“Ayesha’s analytical expertise and Angela’s leadership in our telephone unit underscore MEL Research’s position as a market research agency dedicated to societal impact and our on-going commitment to offering a range of channels and methods of reaching audiences.”
