In the role, McGregor (pictured) will continue to develop the company’s qualitative offer. She replaces Scott Harwood-Ramsay, who left the business in April to move to Germany.

McGregor has previously served as chief executive of Flamingo North America and later as group board director for the company. After returning to the UK, she was chief client service director at TNS, and most recently, board member and chair of the Association for Qualitative Research (AQR).

Jane Rudling, managing director at Walnut Unlimited, said: “To appoint such a prolific and internationally recognised name as the lead for our qual team is the next big step for Walnut Unlimited.

“With her years of experience and growth mindset, Lyn is the perfect figurehead to develop our qual offering and champion the evolution of how we conduct qual to deliver meaningful insight and human understanding to our clients.”
