Matukin (pictured) joins the company from Warsaw-based neuro research and technology company Neurohm, where he has spent over six years, most recently as chief scientific officer.

At Walnut, Matukin will develop and grow the company’s existing neuroscience offer, blending neuroscience with other research techniques.

He will work alongside directors Cristina de Balanzo and Andy Myers in the newly created role.

Jane Rudling, managing director at Walnut Unlimited, said: “Walnut Unlimited has always believed in the power of neuroscience and pioneered its use to deliver deeper insights for our clients. To appoint such an internationally recognised name as Michal recognises this commitment and cements our position as one of the strongest providers of neuro expertise in the UK. With a wealth of experience in the field and familiarity with insights and marketing, he is the perfect person to champion the next chapter of Walnut neuroscience.”
