Marketing optimism remains high in Americas, says Warc GMI
The headline GMI figure, taking into account marketers’ expectations in three key areas: marketing budgets, staffing levels and trading conditions, dropped 1.3 points from last month to 56.7 (a reading of 50 indicates no change from the previous month; 60 indicates rapid growth). However, it was still up 0.8 points over the year.
For the fourth month running, optimism was highest in the Americas with a reading of 59.2; while readings in Europe and Asia Pacific declined by 1.5 and 1.8 points respectively in the last month.
