MarketCast hires former Nielsen Sports leader
Campbell (pictured) will serve as corporate senior vice-president and also general manager of the sports, live events and brands department at the company, and will lead the department’s growth strategy, commercial activities and client services.
Before joining MarketCast, Campbell was at Nielsen Sports, working with major US sports leagues in basketball, American football and baseball.
At MarketCast, Campbell will also lead the company’s fan research practice, and also help develop new analytics products and services aimed at sports fans.
John Batter, chief executive of MarketCast, said: “As fan consumption habits and sponsor spending continues to shift, Lyndon will provide the client service expertise and firepower to grow our share of the business and deliver new research and analytics services to support the biggest names in sports, media and brands.”
