Market Force Information buys Retail Eyes
The deal adds more than 100 clients to Market Force’s portfolio and doubles the size of its network of mystery shoppers and retail auditors to more than 600,000 across Europe and the Americas. Together, group revenue in 2011 is set to exceed $70m (£45m).
Retail Eyes said the acquisition was an “ideal” fit as the two firms offer a similar range of mystery shopping and customer satisfaction measurement services. The company is headed by CEO Tim Ogle and is based in Milton Keynes.
Market Force CEO Karl Maier (pictured) said: “There is no question that Retail Eyes has the most sophisticated customer intelligence business in the UK, with a rapidly growing European practice. This acquisition will enable us to serve our multi-national clients, as well as extending our services to new markets that have huge potential for growth.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
