US— Technology industry analyst The 451 Group has acquired the assets of TheInfoPro, a survey research and advisory firm focused on the IT market.
TheInfoPro was founded in 2002 by former Gartner analyst Ken Male (pictured), and is backed by a $10m investment, mostly from Edison Venture Fund, which became sole institutional investor in the business in 2009.
Post-acquisition, TheInfoPro and its team become a division of The 451 Group, bringing total group headcount to 165.
The 451 Group has previously acquired Uptime Institute and Tier1 Research.
