UK — Mobile survey specialist Lumi Mobile has hired Roger Lovegrove as chief financial officer.

The appointment follows the company’s selection for the government-backed Future Fifty programme, which is designed to support high-growth technology companies.

Here’s the full announcement of Lovegrove’s appointment:

Lumi Mobile, the specialist in consumer insight mobile technology and real-time audience engagement, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Lovegrove as chief financial officer (CFO).

Based in London, Roger will have primary responsibility for Lumi’s finance function, substantially enlarged since the company’s recent acquisition of IML Worldwide. He will also play a significant role in corporate strategy and relations with investors.

Roger has extensive experience of fast-growing, international technology businesses, notably with Software as a Solution (SaaS), and has held senior financial and operational positions in both private and publicly-listed companies. Immediately prior to joining the Board of Lumi, Roger was CFO of Onapp Ltd, the global provider of cloud software solutions for the hosting industry, backed by Lloyds Development Capital.

Earlier in his 30-year career, Roger held CFO and operations director roles in software-focused companies Global 360, Lakeview Computers, Metastorm, Manugistics and XDB Systems, following financial management positions at UK listed companies Hays PLC and Boddingtons PLC.
