Lumi Mobile selected for government’s ‘Future Fifty’

News UK

UK — Lumi Mobile, the audience insight and engagement specialist, has been selected for the first wave of technology companies to join the exclusive ‘Future Fifty’.

The government-backed fast-track programme to support high growth business in the UK was launched in April by chancellor George Osborne and Joanna Shields, UK ambassador for digital industries and CEO of Tech City UK.

Lumi is joined by fellow ‘disruptive technologists’ Mimecast, Zoopla and Hailo in the list of 25 companies selected in the first cohort for the year-long programme, which connects high growth companies with expertise and tailored support within government and across the private sector. The selection was led by an advisory panel of 13 venture and growth capital investors, lawyers, accountants and management teams from successful UK tech companies.

“We are delighted to have been recognised not only for our growth potential as a company, but for the transformational change which our technology has brought to our core markets of market research and meetings and events,” said CEO of Lumi Mobile, Richard Taylor (pictured). “Joing the Future Fifty is a huge honour and we look forward to working with the programme’s advisory partners as well as with our fellow innovators.”

Lumi Mobile acquired interactive events technology group Interactive Meetings Limited (IML) earlier this year, marking its expansion into the meetings and events market.
