Kynetec launches SaaS platform

The platform, called AgMeta, is currently only available in the US and provides crop protection and seed businesses with the ability to manage sales at a territorial level.

AgMeta combines Kynetec’s FarmTrak data, which is sourced from around 25,000 farmers and answers questions using custom-built machine learning algorithms, with external data sources, including pests, commodity prices and acreage forecasts.

Other features include insights on the most relevant sales targets, data on market share and size by product, competitor data and county-level market data.

Dr Nomman Ahmed, executive director of global analytics at Kynetec, said: “With the release of AgMeta, sales managers and their teams can readily access forward looking granular data to better execute sales into the market.

“With AgMeta our clients can identify opportunities with non-customer clusters, and access competitive intelligence that provide a strategic as well as tactical angle to sales planning.”
