Kantar Public names global panels director

Before joining Kantar, Burgess (pictured) was global director of panel delivery at YouGov, where he managed to double the size of its global research panels.

Prior to YouGov, Burgess was panel technical lead at Kantar’s Worldpanel division.

In his new role, Burgess will develop Kantar’s probability-based citizen panel Public Voice, including growing its scale, propositions and data capabilities.

Public Voice provides governments and policymakers with representative access to the public, including people not online or hard-to-reach individuals, and which operates in 18 European countries as well as Nigeria and Kenya.

The citizen panel was recently used for a multi-country study on public views on and attitudes towards climate change disinformation.
