Kantar Public expands senior team

UK – Kantar’s evidence and advisory business Kantar Public has appointed Kathryn Cooper to the newly-created role of global head of behavioural and communications advisory.

Cooper (pictured) is currently executive director of the government and public sector practice at WPP and also leads WPP’s growth in government work in the US, having also head experience in fast-moving consumer goods, retail and financial services.

Between 2015 and 2019, Cooper was founding executive director in Australia and New Zealand at WPP, and has been a long-term member of WPP’s executive education programme on integrated government communications.

In her new role, Cooper will lead an international communications and behavioural team, integrated communications and behavioural approaches to address critical public policy issues.

Cooper will be based in the US and will sit on Kantar Public’s global board.

Dr Michelle Harrison, global chief executive at Kantar Public, said: “Kathryn is an outstanding expert, trusted advisor, executive and leader and I am so pleased that she will be leading this area of our business.”
