UK – Kantar has promoted James Brooks to the newly created role of chief operations officer and Scott Carter to chief HR officer.
Brooks, most recently chief operations officer of Kantar’s Insights division, joined the company in 2004 as global operations director for Kantar Worldpanel. Prior to Kantar, Brooks spent 10 years at IRI in various commercial and operational roles.
Carter was appointed as global head of recruiting in 2010 and has been chief HR officer for Kantar Media since 2015. Before joining Kantar, he held leadership roles at PwC.
Both Brooks and Carter will also join the Kantar board.
Eric Salama, chief executive at Kantar, said: “In Scott and James we have two superb, passionate experts who deeply understand Kantar. They both put clients at the heart of their thinking and understand the importance of building strong teams around them and helping people flourish. I am particularly pleased that we have managed to fill critical roles with the best people by promoting from within.”
