UK – Media analytics company MiQ, formerly Media IQ, has appointed Giles Ivey as its first chief executive.
Ivey (pictured) joins the company from Avid Media, where he was global chief revenue officer. Previously, he was managing director at Collective, and has also held commercial lead roles at BSkyB, News UK and AOL.
In the newly created role, he will be responsible for the UK business and the company’s expansion, reporting to MiQ president Richard Dunmall. He will also join the MiQ board.
Joint managing directors Joe Worswick and Evangelos Sideras will report to Ivey.
Dunmall said: “Giles has great digital credentials and has run businesses like AOL and Sky Digital Media at times of big expansion. Our business is rapidly evolving as we seek to articulate our vision across media, analytics and technology, and Giles – alongside our UK leadership team – can really bring that to life.”
