CANADA — Online focus group firm Itracks has launched a video focus group service.
The new service, which uses streaming video technology and offers advanced reporting features, will be available alongside its existing online focus group and bulletin board services for qualitative research. The software allows users to conduct one-on-one or group interviews for concept testing, ideation, customer feedback and website usability.
The firm also recently launched a social media monitoring application, and president Dan Weber said the firm would be rolling out more new products before the end of the year.
Itracks is currently in a dispute with US company Artafact over a patent for software used in its online focus group offerings. The litigation restarted in the summer after the validity of Itracks’ patent was upheld by the US Patent and Trademark Office, but a date is yet to be set for a further hearing.
