Ipsos buys Karian and Box

FRANCE – Ipsos has acquired UK employee research and experience company Karian and Box for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2006, Karian and Box works with organisations to help them improve their culture and experience for employees, including working on the challenges of transformation programmes and new strategies or leadership teams. 

In the last 18 months it has also focused on how workplaces are changing in response to Covid-19.

The business is based in York and employs around 100 people, including advisers, data analysts, occupational psychologists, creatives, developers, and project managers. It posted revenue of £7m in 2020.

Ipsos runs similar practices in markets including France and Germany. The acquisition will boost the company’s employee research and advisory offer in the areas of employee experience, workplace culture, leadership and change management.
