INDIA— Digital advertising agency Komli Media has been awarded $6m in private equity funding from a group of existing investors.
The cash, from Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson, will be used to help accelerate the company’s growth across the Asia Pacific region.
In particular, Komli said, investments will be made in its audience measurement platform ViziSense and its performance marketing and branding activities.
Amar Goel, the firm’s founder and CEO, said: “We are excited by the continued commitment from our investors. We have aggressive plans to become Asia Pacific’s leading digital media network based on our strong innovation and technology.”
This month’s investment marks Komli’s third financing round. It raised $7m in January 2008 and an undisclosed amount in April 2007.
