Komli appoints ViziSense MD for Australian push
Reid joins the firm from entertainment marketing agency Peer Group Media where he was managing director and was previously managing director of Nielsen Online in Australia. He has sat on Komli’s advisory board since March this year.
Komli media CEO Amar Goel said: “Andrew’s solid experience in the field of research and his passion for building a credible audience measurement business makes him a fitting candidate to lead ViziSense’s efforts in Australia. He will be based out of Sydney and will significantly contribute to out goal to become the leading audience and ad measurement platform across Asia Pacific.”
Reid’s appointment is part of Komli’s plan to “aggressively” expand across Australia and Asia Pacific. Earlier this month, the firm secured $6m in private equity funding, some of which was earmarked for investment in the ViziSense platform.
News of the hire follows reports that the Interactive Advertising Bureau in Australia is preparing to launch a tender process to find an agency to supply a hybrid web audience measurement system that combines consumer panel data and server-side data.
