Initiative names new worldwide head of research

UK— Liz Parker has been appointed worldwide head of research at media communications agency Initiative.

Parker (pictured) joins from Associated Newspapers where she was insight manager. In her new role she is tasked with helping evolve Initiative’s communications planning offer through consumer research and insight.

As well as Associated Newspapers, Parker has held clientside research roles with Vodafone, Lloyds TSB, Boots Retail International, Abbey and Nationwide.

She will report to worldwide director of research and futures Sue Mosely and will also work with the firm’s heads of strategy and planning to develop ways of engaging consumers.

Mosely said: “Liz has a strong background in research and brings a wealth of experience with her which will further enhance our offering and benefit our clients. I am delighted to welcome her to the research team.”

Parker replaces Nicki Boswell who moved to a research post within the healthcare sector last month.
