Incisive Media extends Computing brand with research arm

UK— Trade publisher Incisive Media has created a research arm to support its IT magazine, Computing, to provide readers with “market intelligence”.

The new business unit is called Computing Research and will survey the title’s readership on a broad range of topics including IT strategy and spend.

This will then be promoted within the magazine’s editorial stream and in a series of benchmark reports. The first of these, The UK IT Buyer’s Review 2012, has been published to mark the launch of the unit and aims to help IT managers make informed decisions over their future purchases.

Computing Research can also be commissioned to produce bespoke research, Incisive said.
