US — Bob Lord (pictured), formerly president at AOL and CEO at Razorfish, has joined IBM as chief digital officer.
IBM’s David Kenny, who runs the Watson artificial intelligence programme for the computing giant made the announcement yesterday in a tweet. According to tech news site re/code, the news had been released internally on Friday.
That internal announcement said that Lord’s role will see him "accelerate and scale all aspects of IBM’s digital presence, operations and ecosystem."
