HelloInsights Pinterest analytics platform goes live
HelloInsights comes with a free proprietary leaderboard which enables brands to identify the most popular and effective pinners. Using an algorithm, it examines factors including number of followers, pin virality, total reach and audience engagement in order to rank pinners.
The HelloInsights platform uses technology from PinPuff, a Pinterest analytics tool that was acquired by Science earlier this year. HelloInsights will keep PinPuff features on the site, including the function of allowing anyone access to a Pinterest handle to view its individual score. To date, a handful of e-commerce companies have been using HelloInsight’s analytics to grow their brand reach.
Science says that since February HelloInsights has tracked over one million user acquisitions, eight million unique page views, and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue for companies who have used the platform to optimise their marketing efforts through Pinterest.
Using these insights, Science hopes that brands can schedule automated pins, which lets them pre-plan campaigns and keep their Pinterest pages constantly updated with minimal effort throughout the day. Additionally, they can view their real-time presence on Pinterest via a “Live Pin Stream” and create customizable comparison charts to see how they measure up against their competitors.
